It is the “social arm of the Catholic Diocese of Kurunegala”, which extends its services right through the district of Kurunegala without any distinction of religion, caste, race, etc. SEDEC is another identified name for the same, which means Social and economic Development Center. The services of Janasetha covers every single aspect of Human life. Namely; education, Economy, Peace and harmony, Inter-religious affairs, youth and children, etc.
